Day 10- The humidity has left us- PPERRFEECCCTT

Good evening bloggers!

So we all woke up EARLY this morning- we are starting to move around by 4:15 AM since we all crashed about 8pm. We did not all get up though until quarter to 6. At 6am Mom and I went on a walk then came back and got some breakfast. The breakfast buffet was vast including beef tacos, potatoes, pork, pancakes and waffles..... Oh my how do Americans eat like this? We stuck with more traditional eggs and english waffles. We hit the road early around 7 and saw this sign which made us all think of Aunty Joy and Jarrod (when he was a baby and toddler)

Some of the things we are noticing on the highways. We hate concrete roads (sorry Arnold) they are too bumpy. We also see at least 5 trains a day and many towns have at least 10 tracks wide. There are a lot of livestock especially cows of all kind.

Today we hit into landscape like this which is very pretty.... Mom loves them and so do I but they do make me think about rattlesnakes which I HATEEE...

So we missed a couple of the rest stops in the morning and when I checked the next one coming up was 30 miles down the road. After a bottle of water and being told to not make Nan laugh cause she would pee her pants we arrived to the rest area. How IRONIC is the name of the rest stop.... I loved it

We continued for another hour then stopped for lunch in Douglas Wyomming. We initially wanted to go to a diner but Gail (GPS) could not find it so we found this place and the parking lot was packed so we thought we would give it a shot.

No FREIKEN WONDER- FREE PIEEEEEE
Yes you can go in and order a coffee and get free pie on Wednesday. We had an amazing lunch- Nan had chili, I had a boca burger and fruit and Mom had a wrap....

We forgot to take the pictures when they came because we dug into them so quickly but they were DELICIOUSSSS

After dinner we drove for another 2 hours and not much to report. Barren, Open and Vast land. We did see a deer almost crossing the road in front of us that gave us a fright but he didnt come too close which was nice.

We then pulled into Buffalo Wyoming at a lovely little Motel. Mom and I then went for a swim outside and got some subway for supper. Tonight we are just relaxing, watching tv and big brother. Of course Mom can't sit still and is doing laundry, re packing suitcases and washing the cars.Whatever floats your boat I guess....
Tommorow we head to Montana- see you then xo

  1. Wow, you are seeing some wonderful sights. The blog is great for keeping us all posted on where, what, who and would I dare ask, "why". Oh I know why -- because you're all having a blast and making memories to talk about for years to come. Continue to have a great time.
