So after a restful night of sleep we were all awake in before 6am. So we took advantage and showered and had breakfast, packed up and were on the road by 7:15. About 2 hours into the trip I spotted this beauty of an exit and could not resist. So yes we had ice cream at 9am. Worth it absolutely!!!
We decided yesterday that for lunch today we would finish up our BBQ leftovers and such.... I loved the picnic- nice to get some fresh Kansas air.
Then again off the highway we saw a sign for the OZ museum and thought when in Kansas you can't help but think about Dorothy so it was a must stop.

After the museum we headed towards Selina Kansas for the night. We found a comfy and clean Travelodge. For supper we went to Grandma Maxs restaurant the buffet there was out of control good- fried chicken, potatoes, mac and cheese, meatloaf, icecream- holy moly goooddd. Then we hit up Wal Mart again- Nan is really knitting through the states and came back to the room to relax and hit the hay....
Tommorow we are heading North in Nebraska then West towards Wyomming
