So the morning started early at 5:30 with a call from Nova Scotia. I job I had applied for became available and I was offered it. After getting my bearings I had decided to take it. It only had to go to the board to become finalized.
So we hit the road towards Canada and got on the Ferry from Vancouver to Victoria. Just before docking I received a phone call from the principal informing me that HR is forcing him to re-post it so I would have to re-apply if I wanted to be considered. What a roller coaster. We then headed to Butchard Gardens for the afternoon and it was a GLORIOUS afternoon! Warm and sunny and the plants are gorgeous.
We then settled into our hotel and went for supper at an Irish Pub downtown. We took a little drive and then Mom and I went on a walk. We are now enjoying Canadian news and heading to bed.
Tommorow we head to visit my Moms long term friend Sandy in Nanoose Bay for the week! We cannot wait to get there and see her. Check back for new pics and stories tommorow...
