So we left Virginia this morning and hit the road. Let me tell you there is a reason John Denver says "west virginia mountain momma" because HOLY COW THE MOUNTAINS ARE HUGE! So this means that Mom spent the morning sweating and cursing under here breath and refusing to look to either side. Luckily the hilly mountains did not have as many transports as the other highways. We stopped at a lovely rest station and continued to Charleston West Virginia for lunch where we had Cracker Barrell again cause its super phenominal. The ear stog hit the highest point when we went up Stoney Mountain that is 2765ft.

After lunch we made our way toward Kentucky for Lexington. I like to call it Lexington squared since we stayed in Lexington Virginia last night. We pulled into the Holiday Inn and have a lovely room. For supper we decided to get Dominos Pizza, Cinna Stixs and Wings and just hang out here, get some laundry done and relax.

Tommorow we are not driving YAHOOOOOO!!! We decided to take advantage of our first day off the road and Mom and I plan on walking around downtown Lexington to see all the sights. Nan is planning on doing some knitting, reading and not sitting in the car.
I expect to take lots of pictures tommorow so check back to see what we toured.
Lots of love- Hope you are all getting ready for some fabulous weekend plans xo
Enjoy your day in Lexington -- the sights while on your feet instead of your "you know whats" will feel and look great, I bet.
