Day 12- We're in Seattle!!!! Still living and loving in unity

Hello Bloggers
It's Nancy here and apparently it is my turn to Blog - At 52 who would think I would be Blogging..
Well we started off the morning by going for a walk - it was so refreshing we even wore a sweater. As mostof you know I have moved a number of times but my truck didn't look like this one - now this is a load.

Laura and I walked by the "Forks" - In Canada we would say - River.
Just to let you know we had a wonderful sleep last night.

After going through many winding mountains with Laura driving and my "nerves" almost gone - we stopped at a rest stop and here are the "Friends" we made a soon as we started feeding them crackers.

I believe we must have some rich relatives that they didn't tell us about because they keep naming things after us. This was in Coeur d'Alene Idaho - a resort town.

This was a truck that almost ran us off the road and wouldn't you know - it was called Sherman - I think he thought we were taking his picture to report him.

This picture of the wind turbines doesn't do this justice - there were 176 of them - each bigger than the Stature of Liberty and on a ridge of mountain that I thought I was going to die just getting there. I have held my breath more times in the past 12 days then I care to count. I have definitely decided I am a Prairie girl - give me corm field any day.

Just another view of the mountains in Washington - I just wish we never had to drive all the way up - just to know I have to come down with lots of warnings about "Run Away Trucks"

And then we hit 4 o'clock traffic in Seattle - Thank you God for Laura as the navigator - she just tells me what o do and I do it but I just don't take a deep breath until we stop.

What can I say about our days on the road - we have had a ball. We have laughed more in these past 12 days then we have in the past year. Mom has been a real trooper and Laura has kept us all in stitches with her stories and singing.
We stopped at Jack's Diner for lunch in Ritzville Washington and had Chili all around along with Mom's Peach pie with ice cream - Mom order's it and Laura and I eat it.
We got into our hotel at about 4:45 and went for supper right next door to the hotel.
Tomorrow we will venture downtown to see all the sights - we are planning on staying in Seattle until Monday but we will check in with you tomorrow to let you know about our adventures.
Check back tommorow for lots of pictures and stories
Lots of love xo
